What art equipment do you use?
What art program do you use?
I use ClipStudio EX for drawing manga and illustrations!
What brushes do you use?
I use the じわぺん and しんでないペン - you can download both for free from the Clip Studio Assets website!
What layer types do you use?
I use vector layers to draw all character art.
I use raster layers to draw hair and clothes if they need to be filled in with black flats later (you can't use the bucket fill tool on vector layers). When I extract line art from 3D backgrounds, I also use raster layers.
What is your paper / canvas size?
I use the commercial manga size preset in ClipStudio EX (B4 size, 600 dpi, monochrome).

Did you go to school for art / manga?
No - I've only taken one art class in high school. Otherwise, I am self-taught. I have a bachelor's degree in Marketing.
How can I become better at writing manga?
- 1.) Write manga instead of theorizing about writing manga.
- 2.) Complete your first manga if you haven't already. Even if it's a one-page comic strip.
- 3.) Have you written manga today?

When do you stream on Twitch / Youtube?
I stream at least once a week on Friday, Saturday or Sunday - simultaneously on Twitch and Youtube! Lately I've been aiming to stream twice a week! :) I stream myself drawing manga, illustrations, or working on other art-related tasks so feel free to come ask questions in English or 日本語 or just vibe!
Are you a full time manga artist?
YES, I quit my corporate job at the end of 2023 because I was getting super burnt out from it and was unable to work on my manga projects. Thanks to all of my generous readers, I make just enough to survive from my Patreon! 🥹🙏 Any and all support is appreciated and I'll continue working my hardest to deliver great manga and tutorials to you!

Yes, I do - it's my second language (Japanese is my first)! I wasn't comfortable speaking it for the longest time because I was singled out in school for having an accent and my self esteem was low when I spoke English... 😅 Feel free to ask me questions in English or 日本語 though - whatever you're comfortable with!
